[EVENT]: Rally For Reggie

This “Reggie Clemons” Rally is for a great cause. Sixteen years ago Reggie Clemons and two other black men were sentenced to the death penalty for a crime with no evidence. A prosecutor that was charged himself with misconduct, and tainted jurors and still the three black men were sentenced to death. It’s beyond me that all these odds were in their favor and they still received the death penalty. After the Supreme Court overruled the sentence. Governor Jay Nixon tried to reinstate the death penalty. Nixon was the same prosecutor charged with misconduct in the same case. We need justice for these three men.

Come out to the Rally For Reggie and show your support. We need to see that justice is served in this case of wrong doing. The rally will be held on September 15, 2012 at Kiener Plaza. The rally kicks off at 12:00pm. Several topics will be discussed involving fair justice and life over the death penalty.

The rally will have special performances by Nick ‘Whiteout’, Tef Poe, Theresa Payne, Nato Caliph, and more. Spoken Word Gospel Rap, and reggae will be a part of the great showed planned for the event.

Post a comment below to show your support for “Reggie Clemons” and all the others wronged in the justice system.
