Here is the video to my favorite song on Rihanna’s Unapologetic album. Ri Ri bares all in her official video for her new single “Stay”, which is a follow-up to her song Diamonds. The Grammy winner strips down, and gets into a bath where blue water covers her body. The rest is left up to the imagination. When the video is not focused on Ri Ri’s heartache, it cuts to Mikky Ekko who is featured on the new single. The clip was directed by the legendary Sophie Muller. This is the first time the two have collaborated on a project, and hopefully not the last.
What do you think of Rihanna’s new song and video “Stay”? Do you like Ri Ri’s new style when being compared to the “Umbrella” days? Please leave your comment below.

Skiddalz is one of the most hard-working and dedicated artists that I have met and I can’t think of a better way to have your hard work pay off than to have MTV premiere not one but two one of your music videos. Last year MTV premiered Skiddalz’s video “OMG” on their website, and this past Saturday MTV debuted “Pop Magic” the latest video from Skiddalz on their website. If the song “Pop Magic” sounds familiar that’s because you may have heard it on MTV’s Jersey Shore. Skiddalz has also had her music featured on MTV’s Disaster Date, The Pauly D Project, and has a track on the Restore The Shore compilation. The video features cameos from some of STL’s hottest artists including Nick “WhiteOut” Menn, Yak Boy Fresh, A-Game, Slo Down, DJ Daddy J, and myself. If you’re feelin’ the track make sure you catch Skiddalz rocking live alongside yours truly February 14th at Plush in downtown St. Louis. For more information on the event click here. Early Monday morning Justin Timberlake dropped his first single in 6 years “Suit & Tie” a collaboration featuring Jay-Z with Timbaland on the beat. Since its release “Suit & Tie” has been in heavy rotation on a majority of CBS and Clear Channel Media and Entertainment stations. The track is expected to earn Timberlake his best sales week ever for a digital song, expected to sell as many as 400,000 downloads by the end of the week. You can download the single from iTunes by clicking here. JT’s third studio album The 20/20 Experience is due out later this year. What do you think of the new Justin & Jay track? “Professional bad bitch” Hucci Gurl is an amateur on the music scene, but you would never be able to tell that by listening to her remix of Aaliyah’s track “Are You That Somebody.” Be on the lookout for more dope remixes from Kentucky’s rising star Hucci Gurl! What do you think of the remix? Listen and comment below.
Do you ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes during a video shoot? Here is proof of what goes down when you get a bunch of rappers together in one room for too long. During filming for her new video “Pop Magic” Skiddalz, WhiteOut, and Yak Boy Fresh got together and did this freestyle and luckily the director was on hand to capture this moment on film. A-Game spit some bars in the beginning of the freestyle, unfortunately the filming started right after that, but I was there and I promise you it was dope! I’m glad I got to witness the freestyle and even more happy that I get to share it with all of you. What do you think of the video? Show some love below.
